Biography

Andrew Keim was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1970. He attended San Diego State University, where he studied painting with Richard Baker. He earned a BFA in 1995. He then attended New York School of Visual Arts, where he studied with Jake Berthot. He earned his MFA in 1997. In 2002 he moved to New Mexico, where he studied furniture making and carving at Santa Fe Community College with Christof Neander and Ivan Dmitrov. He earned a Certificate in Fine Woodworking in 2007. In 2013 he began a studying violin making, which continues to the present day.
